Stuck in the deadly DFU Mode Loop? Here's the solution ( Window )

This can only be done for those who got SHSH blob saved on Cydia server.
First: You will need to trick the apple server with cydia server so that you can restore to older version
Here's how you do it :

- Navigate to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
- Open file called " hosts " with Notepad
- Copy the following and paste at the bottom
#       74.208.10.249    gs.apple.com
74.208.10.249    gs.apple.com
- Save

Second: Download the correct 3.1.3 firmware for your iPhone from this site:
http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/

Third: once the download complete, open your iTune and plug your iphone into your pc
Then it should be recognizing new drive by now.. you should then see your iphone is in recovery mode but actually it's DFU mode
- Now hold Shift and click " Restore "
- Browse to the 3.1.3 firmware you just downloaded earlier
- Sit tight and wait till your restoring is completed
Fourth: Jailbreak your iphone using Spirit or Jailbreakme

Fifth: Now you should be on jailbroken iOS 3.1.3 but if you wanna update to iOS 4.1 then just plug your phone in iTune and download the firmware. click " Download Only "

Then cook that firmware with sn0wbreeze version 2.0.2
Click Here To Download Sn0wbreeze

then restore your iphone using the cooked firmware you get from sn0wbreeze

your phone must now be on iOS 4.1 jailbroken
